Hello!
My name is Andrew Stevens and I am a proud native of Northern Virginia!
When I am not looking up obscure bits of history that capture my interest, I can be found arguing which city has worse traffic with visitors to DC.
What interests me professionally?
I am fascinated by the application of technology in resolving problems in the workspace.
From my experience, user education paired with the purposeful/directed application of technology can be completely transformative with its effects ranging from a single person’s expanded skill set to an entire organization’s capabilities and productivity.
Proudest achievement?
In late February 2020, the IT/Educational Technology department of the Lab School of Washington (LSW) was notified that in-person instruction would transition for the remainder of the school year.
I took the lead in planning, developing, and launching an online resource for Faculty and Staff members of LSW as they underwent this transition from in-person instruction to online. Utilizing Articulate’s Rise e-learning platform, faculty members quickly and easily accessed the essential resources, training, and web links needed to ease their instructional transition.
